WonderGlow OT is excited to announce Scribble & Shine, a neurodiversity-affirming handwriting program running in January 2026.

The group will aim to be available for children in Geelong and Bairnsdale.

This intensive, playfully structured program targets the building blocks of handwriting - including gross motor, fine motor, and visual motor foundations - while honouring each child’s unique strengths and preferences.

The goal: functional, confident handwriting that feels joyful and achievable.

Children going into years 1-3 in 2026, who:

Find handwriting stressful or avoid it altogether
Tire quickly when asked to write, or resist longer tasks
Produce writing that looks messy or hard to read
Struggle to keep up with classroom writing demands, even though they’re capable in other areas
Find pencil grip uncomfortable or awkward, leading to frustration
Seem to be writing less or less neatly compared with classmates, even though they’re trying their best

🧒🏽👧🏻 Who this is for

Delivered across 3 consecutive days in weeks 3 and 4 of January

Bairnsdale dates: Monday 12th, Tuesday 13th, and Thursday 15th, 10.00-11.30am
Geelong dates: Monday 19th - Wednesday 21st, 10.00-11.30am

x3 daily sessions lasting 90 minutes packed with playful movement, fine motor skill‑building, and creative handwriting foundations. Maximum group size: 6 children.

Each child's support and activities will be individualised and tailored to their specific level, based on developmental stage.

📝 Program Details

$800 for 4.5 hours of small group OT sessions, plus 2 hours for non-face-to-face supports, including individualised notes, summary report and resource pack

50% deposit required to secure a spot.

Final payment of remaining 50% due 1 week before program starts.

NDIS Funding

For Self-Managed NDIS participants, the program may be suitable for funding through your child’s NDIS therapy budget (if applicable).

At completion, each family will receive a personalised bundle including:

A recommendations report
Resource pack (including things like therapy pens/pencils, types of writing paper, warm-up activity cards)
Future considerations for continued support
